The ledger
The ledger
Every settlement batch, published in full. Gas and bridge costs are deducted before the nonprofit receives fiat, so they are printed here rather than netted out quietly.
The ledger is empty because nothing has settled. It fills in public, batch by batch, deductions included. If a number ever looks worse than you hoped, it is because it is true.
| Batch | Cause | Gross | Gas | Bridge | Net to charity | Receipt |
|---|
What a batch entry carries
- Batch
- Sequential id, opening and closing block
- Harvest tx
- The on-chain call that swept the vaults
- Swap out
- USDC received at market rate
- Bridge cost
- Reported per batch, deducted before fiat
- Gas
- Reported per batch, deducted before fiat
- Net fiat
- What the nonprofit actually receives
- Receipt
- The Giving Block confirmation for the batch
How to read it against the chain
The gross figure on a batch should reconcile with the pledged share the vaults routed over the same block range, which the board reports per coin as a lifetime total. The gap between gross and net is ours to justify, batch by batch: that is the whole reason the two numbers are printed side by side instead of one of them.
Settlement is desk work, not contract code. The route marks exactly which steps are which, and plain terms clause 08 says the same thing in the language a lawyer would use.
